1953

Giacinto Chiesa and three more partners, colleagues from Danzas, established Italmondo.

1963

In 1963 they began the establishment of Italmondo branches all over Italy and abroad; key centers for freight traffic included Southampton, New York and Caracas.

1964

In 1964 the offices are moved to Milan in Corso Sempione.

1988

In 1988 Franco Pozzi, son in law of Giacinto Chiesa joins the Company.

1992

In 1992 Customs in Via Valtellina is closed down.

2000

In 2000 GC Holding, which encompasses all the main activities of the group, is established.

2003

In 2003 Federico Pozzi Chiesa, grandson of Giacinto Chiesa joins the company.

2004

In 2004 Franco Pozzi is appointed Managing Director of the group.

1991

In Mouscron, 100 kilometres from Brussels, Euroterminal, a logistic platform covering an area of 150.000 m2, of which 35.000 m2 is used for the warehouse is created.

2006

In 2006 the administration offices and warehouse of the new head office in Lainate are inaugurated.

2008

In October, at the age of 82 ,Giacinto Chiesa, great official as well as knight of the Republic and founder of Italmondo, passes away.

2009

In 2009 Massimo Pozzi Chiesa, grandson of Giacinto Chiesa and brother of Federico, joins the Company.

2010

The group Italmondo acquired Fragiacomo, a historical brand of Italian footwear, loved by movie stars and celebrities.

Federico Pozzi Chiesa becomes Vice Managing Director.

From the experience gained after 60 years of doing business, Supernova Hub presents the expertise acquired in the both logistics and e-commerce fields.

Due to the high performance of the company in the IT field, a network of investors, business agents and the experience of a successful investment model, Supernova Hub gave rise to a group of integrated companies capable of creating synergies maintaining both time to market and elevated performance.

Supernova Hub is a coworking space where all the start-ups created by the Group in the last three years, synergistically meet.

Supernova Hub, the group’s accelerator of start-ups is born, where successful realities such as Sendabox, Termostore, Conciliazioni and Zoro.

Headquarters move to Arluno with facilities covering over 50 000 square meters and 100 spotlights.
